Suffocated..

I was pushing myself so hard that it had become hard to remember who I really am.
I was pushing myself hard to be a puppet in people's hands to please them.
Again and again I lifted my head above the dark waters to breathe in some life in me.
But I was cuaght up in a whirlpool and I was being pulled down, unaware of myself.
Breathing was not easy..
But deep down in my heart I had faith,
And that kept the light in me alive and burning,
And this is what saved me, to see this day today..
FAITH !

Eclipse(contd.)

Eclipse

As winter crawls in
the winds shake the branches of the trees standing against it.
The leaves, dry and withered, get blown far away in the night sky for an unknown adventure.
The color and glow of the moon darkens as the eclipse approaches its end.
And I sit wondering how wonderful it would be to enjoy such a beauty
with a couple of friends to share stories and songs,
a blazing fire to keep the passion burning
or may be just silence to feel the love in the heart and joy in the eyes.
This Divine night brings so much peace !
